Hertford Regional College (HRC) is pleased to announce a brand new travel initiative called "We’ll Meet You Half Way," to help full-time students travelling to and from the College by bus or train.

HRC is offering to pay 50 percent of bus and train fares for students aged between 16-18 years, starting on a new course with us in September 2011*. The offer is available to students who are not already receiving EMA or Bursaries.

Andy Forbes, Principal of HRC, is delighted to announce "We’ll Meet You Half Way," calling the initiative ‘a ticket to ride’.

“Many of our students travel a long way to get the quality education we offer. So we’ve worked closely in partnership with local councils and with bus and train companies in Hertfordshire, London and Essex to come up with a huge increase in travel subsidies for all our 16-18 year old students. We’ve made sure that any young person who wants to study at HRC is able to get to us on public transport at a very reasonable cost.”

"We’ll Meet You Half Way" means students have the chance to travel further afield to benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities and quality education that HRC provides.
