Part-time Course Fees

All part-time fees are shown with each course and include a registration fee, tuition fee, department charge and in most cases an examination fee. Books are not usually included in the fee. You will be advised at or before the first class meeting of any books or equipment you will need. These may also be listed in additional costs on the relevant course page. The fees stated are for one year only.

Fee Remission

Benefit fees

Are you eligible for help with your tuition fees?

In certain circumstances we will pay your tuition fees for you. You will only need to contribute the remaining amount which is shown as the “Benefit” fee.

If you are on any of the following benefits you or your unwaged dependents can claim a fee concession:
  • Income Support
  • Housing / Council Tax Benefit
  • Working Tax Credit with household income less than £15,276* p.a
  • Guaranteed Pension Credit
  • Income Based Employment Support Allowance
  • Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
  • Contribution Based Job Seekers Allowance

Unwaged dependents of holders of either Income Based or Contributions Based Job Seekers Allowance are also able to claim a fee concession.

If you wish to claim the benefit fee, ensure you tick the fee remission box for the benefit fee - this will allow you to apply but not pay. Alternatively download and complete a copy of our application form and bring this along with your current tax credit award notice (TC602) to one of our Information Centres. The College is obliged to retain a copy of that proof.

If you are unsure which documentation you need to bring with you please contact our Information Centre on 01992 411411.
