Hertford Regional College is the lead agency for 3 local children’s centres known as the Broxbourne East Children’s Centre Group. The centres in the group are Arlesdene Children’s Centre. Greenfield Children’s Centre and High Trees Children’s Centre.
Children’s Centres have been developed across the country to provide a range of flexible services for families and carers with children 0-4yrs. In the Borough of Broxbourne there are 7 children’s centres, clustered into 3 groups; Hoddesdon, Broxbourne East and Broxbourne West.
We deliver a range of services working closely with schools, midwives, health visitors, doctors and other local service providers to ensure you and your children are supported. Our services include:
• Supporting child development through a range of play and learn sessions
• Outreach and family support
• Parenting support
• Access to training and work opportunities
• Child and family health services including: Well Baby Clinics
• A range of healthy eating, breastfeeding and other healthy activities
