This programme, over two years, is ideal for those who have progressed through the introductory and intermediate levels and wish to top up their knowledge and skills. This advanced level covers higher accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance.
This course is fully accredited by AAT and is recognised by employers in the industry. If you are looking for a career in accounting, this qualification will enable you to step straight into your chosen career. Our choice of either evening or day study means you have the flexibility you need to fit studying around your work. What will I be doing?
This course will build on your knowledge and give you the skills you need to progress successfully to your AAT qualification.
Year 1 (September to June) you will study the following units:
- Management, Decision making and Control
- Cash and Treasury management
- Credit management
Year 2 (September to May) you will study the following units:
- Financial Statements
- Synoptic Assessment covering all topics previously studied at Level 4
- Level 3 AAT Diploma
- Work in Finance or accounting-related employment
