This programme, over two years, is ideal for those who have progressed through the introductory and intermediate levels and wish to top up their knowledge and skills. This advanced level covers higher accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance.
This course is fully accredited by AAT and is recognised by employers in the industry. If you are looking for a career in accounting, this qualification will enable you to step straight into your chosen career. What will I be doing?
This course will build on your knowledge and give you the skills you need to progress successfully to your AAT qualification.
Year 1 (April 2020 to March 2021) you will study the following units:
- Management, Decision Making & Control
- External Auditing
- Business/Personal Taxation
Year 2 (April 2021 to April 2022) you will study the following units:
- Financial Statements
- Synoptic Assessment covering all topics previously studied at Level 4
- Level 3 AAT Diploma
- Work in Finance or accounting-related employment
