This programme is ideal if you have completed Level 2 or you are already at a more intermediate level and want to develop your accounting skills. This intermediate level introduces more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting records and preparation of accounts.
Monday and Wednesday evening 6.30 - 9.30 pm
What will I be doing?
There are six learning areas:
- accounts preparation
- preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships
- costs and revenues
- professional ethics
- indirect tax
- spreadsheet software
Indirect tax and spreadsheet software are assessed by a synoptic assessment which will include prior learning for all units with the exception of indirect tax.
- AAT Accounting Certificate Level 2 or related work experience
- An interview may be required
