This fast track programme is the introductory level to the AAT qualifications. You will develop skills from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to computerised accounting, using Sage software.
Monday and Wednesday evening 6.30 - 9.30 pm - all sessions are tutor led.
You will benefit from a face-to-face teaching session with an experienced AAT tutor.
What will I be doing?
There are five learning areas:
- Processing bookkeeping transactions
- Control accounts, journals and the banking system
- Basic costing
- Work effectively in finance - synoptic assessment
- Computerised accounting
work effectively in finance will be a synoptic assessment which includes aspects of the four other topics
How will I be assessed?
Each topic is assessed by a computer-based assessment.
English and maths at Grade 5 or equivalent, or
the Level 1 Award in Accounting, or
An interview may be required.
