After you have successfully completed this programme, you can choose to:
- Undertake Engineering Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma Yr1 (90 Credit Diploma)
- Apply for an Apprenticeship in Engineering
- Enter into employment in this industry
What will I be doing?
We will help you learn a wide range of skills that will support you to work in the Engineering industry, including how to understand the core principles of Engineering, mechanical applications and building your maths skills. This is in addition to learning the industry 'lingo' with units focused on communication, and a work-related project that will give you a taste of what a career in the industry is like.

How will I be assessed?

Entry requirements
To apply for this programme you will need:
- A minimum of GSCE Grade 3/D or Entry 1 Functional Skills in both English and maths) and be able to demonstrate literacy skills at GCSE level.
- To demonstrate your interest in Engineering through interview
