This 9 week course, 6 hours per week over two evenings, will enable learners (aged 18+) to gain the knowledge and experience needed to offer a range of nail services to clients.

What can I do next?
After successful completion of this course you could:
- complete the Level 2 Award in Providing Pedicure Treatments. (These 2 courses combined provide the prerequisites for the Level 2 Award in LED Gel Polish Techniques).
- apply for the Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Techniques (PT)
- enter into employment
What will I be doing?
This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to:
- provide safe and effective methods of working when providing manicure services.
- be able to consult, plan and prepare for treatments with clients.
- maintain effective health, safety and hygiene working practices throughout treatments
- carry out manicure services.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a combination of short assignments, tests, and practical assessments of your work. There will be a short external examination at the end of the course.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to attend in a Salon tunic/black top and black trousers/leggings.
A kit is not required for this courses but is recommended, to allow you to practice at home. Your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of the course.
