  • This course is designed for those people who have never studied French before or who may have a little knowledge of the language.
  • The course takes place on one evening a week for the academic year.

What will I be doing?

  • You will have lots of opportunities to read, write, speak and listen.
  • Your tutor will conduct the lesson in French wherever possible.

Added Extras

You will have the opportunity to do some culturally interesting activities in addition to your course. For example, you may choose to go to a French restaurant or film.

How will I be assessed?

There is no formal assessment for this course; however you may agree some individual learning goals with your tutor and keep a learning plan to monitor your progress.

Entry requirements?

There are no entry requirements for this course - except for a love of or an interest in France or the French language.

What do I need to bring?

Enthusiasm, some time to do homework, a sense of humour and a dictionary.
