With professional dance studios, a recording and TV studio, plus tutors with industry experience, you'll learn the tricks of the trade in preparation for your career. Our 140-seat performance theatre, will allow you to showcase your talents with the help of the latest lighting and sound technology.

What will I be doing?
p>This is a one year programme of study which provides an introduction and understanding of performing arts in a variety of projects such as celebrating Black History Month, collaborating with HND for our yearly Panto, performing your own monologues based on ghost stories as well as a final major project to suit your skills and interest. You will participate in technique classes that will develop and enhance your skills in a variety of areas such as acting, vocal technique, script writing, physical theatre, ballet, contemporary and choreography.
You will also have the opportunity to experience the production aspects of producing a performance such as directing, choreographing, stage design, light design, sound design, costume design as well as the importance of health and safety.
<PThere's lots of perks to this course, including:
Participating in professional workshops and watching live professional performances both locally and in London
Learning vital employability skills such as CV writing, audition techniques and how to present as a professional in the industry
How will I be assessed?
Live practical briefs. The final performance will be a personal project, collaborating with other students
To take on this course you will need:
- 4 GCSE's at Grade D/3 or a Level 1 at Merit grade
- To attend an interview/creative workshop to assess your skills and interests

What do I need to bring?
You will need to provide a £90 kit fee, which will also cover trips and workshops.
This will include branded clothing to wear in class and for performances.You must ensure you have appropriate footwear for lessons and performances.

p>If you are 19 or over on 31st August 2019, have been a permanent resident in the EU for the last 3 years and are a fee paying new entrant you will pay approx. £2000 tuition fee for a Level 2 qualification and approx. £5500 for a Level 3 qualification (these were the fees for 2018/19 and could be subject to change for 2019/20).
Fee paying students continuing on the same course for a second year will be charged £2000 tuition fee for a Level 2 qualification and approx. £8500 for a Level 3 qualification (these were the fees for 2018/19 and could be subject to change for 2019/20).
If you are aged 19-23 you may also be entitled to free training if the course you choose is your first full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. You may also be required to pay an administration fee, exam fees, kit fee and an Awarding Body Registration fee if applicable.
