The delegation, including colleagues from Saudi Arabia and CareTech UK, had included HRC on their itinerary of visits to training providers offering education for learners with learning difficulties and/or disorders (LLDD).
During the visit, the delegation were provided with a presentation regarding HRC’s provision for our learners, focusing on how HRC uses initial assessments to identify individuals’ needs. Following the presentation and lunch, our visitors were then given a tour of the Ware campus starting in the David Gentleman Gallery. They were able to see an exhibition currently on display by our Art & Design Foundation Diploma students, before proceeding through the gallery to our Millbrook building. Here the guests were shown a range of classes for LLDD in action to better understand how the students are supported, and were able to discuss SEN teaching with our dedicated team of lecturers and tutors.
We are confident our guests found the visit educational and that it will help build their understanding of how SEN are supported in the UK.
