Dear Apprentice,
As you are aware, we have now been instructed to close the College to the majority of our students until further notice. This means that from Monday 23rd March, Hertford Regional College’s Broxbourne and Ware campuses will be closed to all apprentices.
We want to reassure you all during this challenging period that we remain committed to helping you to continue to make good progress on your apprenticeship and to complete assessments in line with assessment deadlines. We are following Government guidelines to ensure that we limit social distancing, and your tutor/assessor will make contact with you via telephone to ascertain your working plans.
In addition, we have put in place contingency plans for ways of working in the foreseeable future, and your tutor/ assessor will be contacting you via email, Smart Assessor and telephone to make alternative arrangements where required. Going forward, your tutor/assessor will be using alternative methods of delivery wherever possible again using Smart Room on Smart Assessor, telephone calls and the setting of work via email to be completed in preparation for online contact, as well as carrying out on line progress reviews.
It is important that you continue to commit to your learning to secure a positive outcome on your apprenticeship programme. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your tutor/assessor for help.

In addition, will continue to communicate with you via Smart Assessor with all updates
