Dear Employer,
Hertford Regional College are pleased to advise, following review of recently published government guidelines, that we are working towards fully opening both sites of our college for new and returning apprentices in September 2020. We have conducted a full risk assessment and can confirm that we are undertaking all necessary measures to keep staff, students and apprentices safe.
Until we fully open again we will continue to conduct learning online with our qualified trainers, supporting students and apprentices to make continuous progress via online sessions during the summer.
The Government recently announced a scheme aimed at supporting employers who are looking to employ an apprentice, the scheme which runs until 31st January 2021, offers employers a financial incentive, employers can access £2,000 for employing an apprentice under the age of 25 or £1,500 for employing an apprentice over the age of 25.
The Apprenticeship Team at Hertford Regional College are here to support you in accessing the incentive scheme and are able to provide impartial advice if you are interested in finding out more.
The Apprenticeship Team are also able to provide a free analysis of any business training and development requirements you may have – we are here to support your business to grow.
