Preseason Training Sessions - August 2022
This summer we are offering pre-season football training sessions for students who are looking to join us in September!
The training sessions take place over three weeks throughout August.
Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award
A huge congratulations to our Public Services students who have successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award!🏆👏
Our level 3 students were finally able to complete theirs despite being two years delayed due to the pandemic. And a fantastic start at HRC for our level 1 students who completed the award in their first year! Achieving this award has given the students skills, confidence and an advantage over others when applying for University or a job.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is just one of the many extra qualifications we offer to students at HRC alongside their full time studies - through our enrichment team!👍

Bricklaying Taster Session!
On Tuesday 21st June, we had students from a variety of courses try out bricklaying, to help break the stigma and show that anyone can learn the skill and join the trade!
The session was arranged after one student stated she didn’t know that girls could work in construction! All students participated fantastically and learnt useful and practical skills.
Courses involved:
- Public Services
- Health and Social Care
- Childcare
Well done all!
