What's On

Dear Students and Parents/Carers,

For the vast majority of students the campus will not be open in June, although online learning will continue. For some students needing to complete particular assessments there will be a partial opening. In addition, the college continues to review it’s EHCP and vulnerable students and adjust it’s provision where appropriate.

We want to reassure you all during this challenging period that we remain committed to helping you to continue to make good progress in your studies and to complete your work wherever possible in line with assessment deadlines. As of Monday 23rd March, we will be providing online learning resources for you either via email from your personal tutor or the college Moodle elearning site in support of this. For some of you this will be sent to your parent / carer if that is the usual method of communication between college and home.

We would strongly encourage that our learners access their timetabled sessions remotely (including English and Maths if you taking these subjects) as directed by your tutors. Your engagement with these on line resources will be monitored to support you in successfully completing your studies. Some of you will be required to submit your work via Moodle or email for assessment, again as directed by your tutors. If you have any concerns about how to access Moodle please contact your tutor and they will advise you further.

We will be in regular contact with you, providing feedback on your work and discussing how you are engaging with the learning resources that you are accessing. It’s important that you continue to commit to your learning to secure a positive outcome this academic year to secure a successful destination for you in the years to come.

It is also important that you and your parents/carers continue to access the college website for up to date information on when we will be fully operational again and resume our teaching and learning as usual.

Please note that wider College support services will continue to be offered. Please refer to our website for contact details for the following teams:
