Construction, Electrical and Plumbing
OPEN EVENING at Hertford Regional College - 21st March 5.30pm - 8pm.
Come along to either Broxbourne or Ware Campus (Depending on your subject choice). Explore our state-of-the-art facilities, meet our tutors and get advice on the best course for you.
The opportunities are endless with our range of workshops. From a large bricklaying studio, to a dedicated carpentry floor to electrical workshops, all the resources you need to build a brighter future are at your fingertips.
Our plumbing study programmes are delivered in partnership with CK Assessment and Training in Nazeing, who provide exceptional on-site facilities and a team of trainers and assessors with years of industry experience.
The department teams, themselves experts in their trade, work with local employers to embed work experience opportunities, which means that our study programmes are relevant and enable you to gain valuable real-life experience alongside qualifications.
This department has a great history of creating live briefs and opening doors to community contacts to help develop your real life experience of work. Most recently, the Multi-Skills Construction students have been working with Lea Valley Park to restore community land including bird hides and fences. At the same time, the students have also been busy working on projects within the college. For example, a group of Carpentry students were commissioned by Business students to create a large dragon and 'wishing trees' to complement HRC's Chinese New Year celebrations which were enjoyed by students and staff.
