benefits of hrc

We are very proud of the reputation we have built for our teacher training programmes, which are particularly notable for their success rates. In fact, we find many of our students travel considerable distances just to study these qualifications with us!

These programmes are taught by helpful, friendly and supportive staff who come from a variety of backgrounds. This means we can offer you a strong and experienced team to deliver your qualification and guide you through these programmes.

We enjoy creating a positive atmosphere in class, which is helped by our students who progress up through our levels together. This means there is support available at every stage from your class colleagues, in addition to our teaching staff.

As part of these programmes you will also have contact with a diverse range of HRC colleagues acting as guest speakers. They will deliver talks and Q&As on their specific specialism, for example Student Services, Learning Support etc., which will provide you with an insight into the different sectors your qualification could take you to.

preparing you for your career

These programmes will prepare you for your career in the education and training sector in multiple ways.

Firstly, you will focus on practical experience within a teaching environment. This will take the shape of assessments of your teaching practice and formal observations.

In addition to this, there are consistent themes running across all of the programmes which will support your career. These include:

  • Effective planning
  • Identification of individual needs
  • Planning to meet individual needs
  • Effective delivery
  • Assessment process
  • Beneficial use of resources
  • Becoming adaptable and being inclusive

Each successive programme builds on the learning from the previous, ensuring that as you move up the levels you will consolidate your knowledge and understanding of teaching.
