Transitioning out of Further Education is an exciting and important step in a young person’s journey. It’s a time when they will be moving from the supportive environment of Inclusive Learning to the wider world of employment and other opportunities.
Parents/Carers will need to apply to their Local Authority for a Social CareAssessment for the young person to gain funding for most of these provisions.

At HRC, we offer a Supported Internship for young people who can travel to college independently. This is a great opportunity for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities to learn whilst at work. This is more than an introduction to work, it is an opportunity to do a realistic job with the support of an employer and job coach.
