Our subcontractors and partners include:
As the employer, Winchmore Brickwork have been working alongside HRC for close to 15 years, a number of our now SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid trained bricklaying Supervisors were once apprentices at the college, overseeing site staffs of between 20 to 60 operatives on contracts ranging from £1m - £4m, dealing day to day with major bluechip market leading clients.
The industry wide renowned partnership we have with HRC developed all those years ago and has continued to progress each year seeing the completion of more and more apprentice’s becoming skilled trade professionals.
As a local business, established for nearly 35 years, Winchmore Brickwork have benefitted a great amount by continuing this working relationship with HRC, we have from the start employed over 50 apprentices which in turn provides great opportunities for our borough and surrounding boroughs allowing us to continue to take on and train up these students.
Winchmore brick apprentices benefit from having a great support system within the college as well as on site and from our management team within the office, we like to ensure that each learner is on programme and able to carry out their practical work with the expertise of our bricklaying supervisors.
Winchmore Brickwork value the partnership with Hertford Regional and are investing in the future generation of learners hopefully seeing our newest batch of apprentices one day becoming supervisors or leading bricklayers, as we know, this generation is the future of bricklaying. With the continued support of HRC this will be easily accomplished and a success for all.
As well as being supported in recent events/material & plant supplies by V&S Scaffolding of Hertford, Mr Plant Hire of Enfield, Jewson, Lignacite of Nazeing, CPI Euromix of Harlow, Green Whale Workwear of Waltham Abbey & Redbank Clipper Saw, there are various talks, training and outside college visits planned alongside Safestand, Ancon, CPI Euromix, Lignacite among many others.
