This course takes place on a Tuesday evening from 6-9 pm for 10 weeks.

  • The role of a bookkeeper
  • Processing customer and supplier transactions
  • Processing receipts and payments
  • Using a cash book
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Identifying assets, labilities, income and expenses for bookkeeping

How will I be assessed?

There will be a computerised-based assessment at the end of the course

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English/maths level 3 or equivalent, or
  • BKSB English/maths level 2, or
  • relevant experience or working in the industry

Other accepted:

  • ESOL Level 3
