Accounting & Business

This programme is ideal if you have completed Level 2 AAT or you are already at a more intermediate level and want to develop your accounting skills.  This course introduces more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting records and preparation of accounts.  This course runs two evenings a week from 6-9 pm. 

What can I do next?

Level 4 AAT which will enable you to achieve the full qualification as a professionally qualified accountant.

What will I be doing?

Under the new syllabus starting September 2022 there are four units that must be completed:

  • Business awareness
  • Financial accounting
  • Management accounting techniques
  • Tax processes for business

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by examination set and marked by the AAT.

Entry requirements

AAT Accounting Certificate Level 2.  If you do not have this we strongly recommend that you apply for one of our Level 2 courses as this is essential for success at level 3. A telephone interview may be required.

What do I need to bring?

Textbooks, calculator and writing materials.  You will be advised which textbooks to purchase once enrolled.
