Hertford Regional College is committed to safeguarding all staff, students and visitors, and there are policies and procedures in place to achieve this. This policy sets out how we will actively promote the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
Adopting a publication scheme is a requirement of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This Act promotes greater openness and accountability across the public sector by requiring publicly funded institutions to make information available proactively, through a publication scheme.
The College aims to ensure that in celebrating diversity it operates fairly irrespective of a person’s sex, disability, age, pregnancy and maternity, race, marriage and civil partnership, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, social background, trade union membership or activity and unrelated criminal convictions, or any other unlawful discrimination.
