This course is suitable for beginners to floristry and is designed to give you the opportunity to explore your creative side using practical floristry skills and techniques, covering all aspects of floristry i.e. flower arrangements, wedding and funeral work using foam and wiring techniques. (N.B this is not a flower arranging course).
Each week covers a different type of floral design, dependent on flower availability and seasonal themes. For example; Buttonholes, fresh flower arrangement, arrangement with fruit and vegetables, candle arrangement, wedding bouquet.

What do I need to bring?
A tool box will be required with floristry scissors, knife, tape and wires. This will be organised and discussed on the first evening. A hand out with a full list of designs and flowers needed over the 10 weeks will also be provided on the first evening. The cost of these materials will range approx between £4 to £15.
Advice will always be provided for sourcing the correct flowers and sundries.
Fee Information
The course staring in September is 9 weeks long, the course fee for this is £135.
The courses starting in January and April are 10 weeks long, the course fee for these is £150 each.
These fees are indicative of the 2024-25 costs and may be subject to change
